Product Introduction
The ball mill shell, also known as the mill cylinder, is the main pressure-bearing and rotating body of a cement ball mill and mineral grinding mill. It forms the core working chamber that completely accommodates grinding media, raw materials, and lining plates. As the fundamental framework of the entire grinding equipment, the mill shell undertakes huge rotational load, impact force, and torsional stress during long-term continuous operation, determining the stability, safety and service life of the whole mill.
The shell is fabricated from high-quality thick steel plates through advanced rolling, bending and integral welding processes. After strict stress relief annealing and precision machining, the cylinder features high overall rigidity, uniform roundness, excellent straightness and strong deformation resistance. It effectively prevents cylinder distortion, vibration and abnormal swinging under heavy-load operating conditions, ensuring smooth and stable rotation of the mill.
The inner surface of the shell is installed with various wear-resistant liners, including step liners, corrugated liners, strip liners and end liners, which protect the steel shell from severe abrasion and impact caused by grinding balls and materials. The outer cylinder is matched with riding rings and supporting rollers to realize stable rotary operation. Both ends of the shell are connected with end covers and hollow shafts to complete power transmission and material inlet and outlet circulation.
Applicable for both dry grinding and wet grinding working conditions, the ball mill shell is widely used in cement raw material mills, clinker mills, mining mills and other industrial grinding equipment. With reliable structural performance, strong pressure resistance and long service life, it provides a stable and safe operating foundation for high-efficiency grinding production.
